This is becos the virus can lay dormant for up to 3 months before it becomes visible in the body. Also in the early stages of the virus entering the body it can be countered by the bodies own immune system till the virus has mutated into a form the body can no longer defend.In the south east continent the lack of screening of blood products and direct blood transfusions are stilla big cause of the spread of the hiv virus along with sexual transmission and sharing of needles by drug users.My apologies for the length of this mail, but surely as muslims we have a responsibility to pass on accurate information.
