Dear Poetess
Alhamdulillah for these wise words. Our lives are a test and an opportunity
for our character/inner person to develop in integrity, mercy, love, and
service to others. In most Islamic countries we start the first day of our
work week today, Sunday. The Holy Qur'an says:
And verily unto Us (belong) the End and the Beginning.
( ÓæÑÉ Çááíá , Al-Lail, Chapter #92, Verse #13)
Our thoughts naturally gravitate at the beginning of this work week towards
Allah who is the Beginning and the End of all things. It is Allah alone who
has been our Lord from the very beginning:
(Moses) said: "Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers from the beginning!"
( ÓæÑÉ ÇáÔÚÑÇÁ , Ash-Shuara, Chapter #26, Verse #26)
So, as we step into the stream or tide of this new week, it is my prayer that
in all things our thoughts and awareness are turned to Allah to whom belongs
all praise!

(men) to Allah's (Islamic Monotheism), and does righteous deeds, and says: "I
am one of the Muslims."} (Holy Quran-41:33)
The prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "By Allah, if
Allah guides one person by you, it is better for you than the best types of
camels." [al-Bukhaaree, Muslim]
The prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also said, "Whoever
calls to guidance will have a reward similar to the reward of the one who
follows him, without the reward of either of them being lessened at all."
