*Can you Imagine we become a great Ummah again. This is Not going to happen unless we have *Islamic Youth Awakening (Sahwah) Campaign for all Muslim youth, the engine of our Ummah. Working with a small group of Muslims, and listening to many youth, we developed this Campaign. It consists of interesting subjects to youth such as: - Islamic History - Hadith on good manners - Stories and videos of Prophet Muhammad. - Stories of great young Muslims. - Stories and videos of many converts to Islam, and why they convert. - Islamic Inspirational songs, such as *Native Deen - Not Afraid to stand Alone* <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wAfUMfCtcDA> if Allah is by my side, Lyrics: Stand Alone<http://lyrics.astraweb.com/display/77/native_deen..not_afraid_to_stand_alone..stand_alone.html> - Supplying youth with material to be strong Muslims against the sweeping missionary wave in our Ummah. So, there are articles, videos, and songs for youth not to be bored. This is an International campaign conducted by emails to many Islamic User Groups, and now many volunteers from Indonesia to Chile are ready to distribute articles for campaign in their own country or abroad. The list of volunteer ranges from a 12 years old girl in USA to 80 years old brother from Pakistan. AlHamd le Allah. The articles will be distributed each Monday starting from Oct. 6, 2008. We understand that many articles in this group are inspiring Youth to be more educated about Islam, and be strong Muslims. So, post those articles under the title "Islamic Youth Awakening Campaign" to show focus on this subject, and for this message not to be buried in 20 articles or more. - Can moderators of this group commit only one day to Islamic Youth awakening with this title and promote this campaign and invite members to post articles about this cause each Monday? - Can we focus and work together for this great cause only one day each week? Why am doing this? I am 67 years old and VERY proud Muslim? I love Our Quran, and Our Prophet. I believe we can be a great Ummah again, by focusing on Muslim Youth, the engine of our greatness. I have seen Muslim Youth in Muslim countries and the west. I know and expect some negative comments. That is fine. I heard them before, when I published my first book, or when started contacting Muslims about this Campaign. Actually I got 3 negative comments already, out of hundreds of very encouraging comments that brought tears of happiness to my eyes. The first negative comment was " Why are you doing this? Do you think you can can do that alone? There are many youth groups and no one achieved a single dent, ...." My answer was " I am a Muslim, and I just have to try, and if this campaign reaches its goal in 5 to 10 years, then that is an effort worth waiting for " The goal is one million Muslim youth join this campaign each year, and YES CAN DO THAT WITH THE GRACE OF ALLAH.
