Humanitarian situation worsens as death and injury tolls rise A United Nations official has called the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza absolutely disastrous. After three days of this ongoing crisis, over 340 people have died and more than 1,400 injured. The current crisis has seen the bloodiest day in the region in over 40 years. Doctors in Gaza are struggling to treat the injured and are lacking essential medical supplies. The injured are being turned away except for those with life-threatening wounds. The Red Cross describes the situation in Gaza's hospitals as chaotic, with medical teams "stretched to the limit. Your help is urgently needed. Act now to save lives in Gaza! Within the first 48 hours of the crisis, Islamic Relief provided over $126,000 worth of medical aid to hospitals in Gaza to ease the suffering.
