DEAR BROTHERS AND SISTERS,
I am writing you all to help needy kidney patients who are unable to support
themselves and will perish because of the lack of funds. Kidney disease is one
of the biggest killers in the world with as many as 10 million people in
Pakistan suffering from kidney diseases.
Dar-us-Shifa
is a non-profit charitable organization which provides free and subsidized
dialysis treatment to needy members of our community so that these patients
will not be deprived of treatment due to financial difficulties.
Dar-us-Shifa
is not affiliated to any other kidney organization in Pakistan. To date,
Daru-us-shifa has served over 105 patients of which 5 have undergone successful
kidney transplantation.

prime mission is to treat diseases and also to make people aware of their
prevention.
Dar-us-Shifa
is striving to look after the well-being of needy people stricken with
end-stage kidney disease by nurturing hope and confidence to make their lives
more meaningful.
Dar-us-Shifa
Foundation has also started an Education Project in which the full cost of
education of the children of poor parents is financed. At present 139 students
are studying in various schools in Karachi and their fees, cost of books and
work books etc. are paid by this Centre.

Help us to look after the well-being of needy people like Shoib Nadeem, a 16
year old boy studying in class X supported by his father who is library in
charge in an education institution. Shoib was seriously ill two years ago which
resulted in kidney failure. He is undergoing dialysis at this Centre from the
last six month at a subsidized rate. He is also continuing his studies in
school. . Dar-us-Shifa is providing dialysis service to Shoib Nadeem which
cost approximately $200 monthly.
