Islam had denounced slavery 1400 years ago and showed the most humane way to deal with it. It took the so-called Free minds and the Western and European intelligentsia another 1300 years to "realize" that slavery is an ill in the society. From the past 1300-1350 years, they have been promoting slavery. For Muslims, they were in a state of Ignorance. Now when they "realize" that slavery is an evil, they have the mouth to say that Islam promotes slavery. What a shame. The question of Slavery and the humane nature in which Islam has treated it is one of the least understood subject by many so called self-proclaimed Human Right Activists of today's "free" (euphemism for "enslaved") world.
