Hello All.

I'm trying to use a cacheflow 3k for transparent (wccpv2) caching, but when it's
enabled Users have difficulty with sites the do secure logins and non-secure pages.
(hotmail/ebay/yahoomail) Does anyone have ideas about this?

(I can answer BGP questions in trade :) )

Subject: [isp-caching] WCCP2 vs Policy Routing

Hi All,

We've been using policy routing on our AS5300s (240 modems) and
transparent proxy w/ squid-2.2.STABLE5-hno.20000202 for a long time. The
load on AS5300s averages at abt 40% to 45%, and peaks to 60% to 70%.

We are now considering WCCP. There are a couple of questions to the list
before we commit though.

1. What will the typical load be on AS5300s w/ all 240 modems live.
2. what is the recommended squid version or other variant (OOPS?)

TIA
