I learned today that it is not enough to call fed-ex or ups or
any other like DHL and ask if a account is good, you MUST also
ask if the account is BILLABLE.....

There is a difference, i called on one today to confirm the account,
and because and due to my last encounter/ bad ship experience i asked:
i want to confirm this account and i also want to know if the account
is "billable"... after a brief pause to elevator music he came back
with "the account XXXXX in XYZ is a valid account"..i said "fine, now
please tell me if the account is billable"..another musical interlude..
and he comes back.." checking with billing the account is not billable"..

so folks had i shipped on this account i would have ended up with yet
another
shipping bill i would have had to pay...

so to all of you, ASK ,..insist to know not only if the account is valid,
but
if it is billable.
