Thanks for the info, I wanted PTCL and MOST to take ownership of this as you have rightly indicated the time it will take for the implementation of these announcements before. Customers after these announcements come to us in reduction of rate per hour. And PTCL takes 6 Months to announce the reductions. If we say that we are waiting for the announcement,We are then presented to the Internet users as the self centered.
The rates reductions of PTCL are always welcome if they are made available in time. Now US$ Rupee parity is at 65 from 67. The overall effect will be there now not after 6 months.
Let us see when the Honorable Minister of Science & Technology get these orders implemented. But on the other hand we would like to thank Dr.Atta for taking steps which go in long way in developing IT & Telecom sector of Pakistan.
Regards,
Imran

Yes, I was attending the function where Dr. Atta made this announcement in the presence of Chairman PTCL and he also assured that the same will further be reduced in the near future to US $ 4,000 for 2MB. We are all most grateful on behalf of ISPAK and the IT industry for this announcement and hope PTCL will be able to issue the notification immediately and like in the past they took over six months for the implementation will not take very long.
Kind Regards
