hi there,
i've just recently implemented RealSecure, and had a few questions
that i couldn't find answers or guidlines for in the documentation.
i was hoping someone could offer some advice:

Is there any good books anyone would recommend, specifically about ISS.
i have read a lot of general Intrusion detections books lately, including
the Stephen Northcut book from New Riders, and Hacking Exposed, but i'd
like something with specific tips and strategies for RealSecure.

In my current implentation i have my NT management console as a standalone
server, not part of my Domain. my reasoning was just paranoia, that it
would be easier to hack if it was part of the domain. Has anyone had any
experience of this, good or bad? does it make much difference?

On the Network Engines (Sun Netra T1s running Solaris 7), does it make
sense to install a system agent also, to ensure that they are not
compromised, or does the net engine daemon have any sort of protection
feature. The boxes are tightened down at the moment, with no unneccesary
services running, no NIS and no NFS.

Can the Intranet scanner reports and data be collected by any means to the
management console, or is it a completely standalone product?

~~~
thanks very much in advance,
Thorsten Sideb0ard.
mad shoegazer.
