If you are not receiving email notifications of software updates, then you
will need to subscribe to the appropriate mailing list. You can send an
email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] asking to be added to the list for upgrade
notifications. You can also go to http://xforce.iss.net/maillists/ to
subscribe to other ISS and security-related lists.

Intranet Scanner, Firewall Scanner, and Web Scanner have been consolidated
into Internet Scanner. Both Internet Scanner and System Scanner now have
X-Press update technology which enables you to download all the latest
vulnerability checks without having to re-install the software. RealSecure
will soon have this same capability.

All products are updated with new vulnerability checks or signatures every 1
to 8 weeks. To find out if you are running the latest version of each
product, you can go to http://www.iss.net/release . You will need a
username and password which is located inside any of your ISS license key
files. Once you are able to access the site, check the version numbers
against what you have installed. If you are not current, simply download
the product(s) for which you have a license. The license keys will still
work with the newer versions unless you are more than a year behind in which
case you would need to upgrade your key. Tech support ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) can
provide instructions for doing this.

All existing customers have access to this download center for obtaining the
latest versions of each product.

I hope this helps!

Hi,

I use RS, SS, FS, IS and I always wondered that their
databases never updated.

Is that normal?
I receive usually one, or two Security Bulletins from the
Microsoft a week, about the new serious security holes in
the IIS, NT, etc. but I didn't get new database updates
from the ISS after that.

Or am I missed something?

Thanks!
