Hi,
I have installed RS 3.2 on an NT box.
I made all of the registry and file system
security settings, what the "Console
User Guide" advises on Appendix B
"RealSecure Security on Windows NT".
Then, when I start RS, I always get an error
message;
"An error occured while trying to get information
about the database and its schema!"
Please verify that the client data source is correct
(via Database options accessible from Options...
on the View menu) and try again."
What does it mean? It always just appears after
the security settings.
I think it would be the time to revise all of ISS RS
documentations. They're quite deficient, e.g. I didn't find
help in it for many installation options, but it helps how can
I click on the OK button, after I disabled some services...
