A new X-Press Update is available for Internet Scanner.
X-Press Update 3.3 delivers 10 new vulnerability checks,
including 6 new Web Scan checks. These web checks include
checks for serious vulnerabilities in NetScape Enterprise
Servers and Microsoft FrontPage. It also includes an updated
check for Unix automount daemon buffer overflows, which is
one of the attacks used by attackers wishing to install the
Trin00 and Tribe Flood Network daemons.
The X-Press Update is available from the ISS secure download
center, at https://www.iss.net/update/InternetScanner. The
X-Press Update Installer program will automatically find,
download, and install this. From the Start menu, run the
"Programs" -> "ISS" -> "Internet Scanner 6.0.1" -> "X-Press
Update Install".
