Can you confirm for me something about FTP bounce and RealSecure?...

From what I understand, and FTP bounce alert is triggerred when an FTP
client send a PORT command to the ftp server to initiate a FTP-data
connection, and the parameters in the port command indicate an IP
address or port number that is different from what the IP packet
     header says.

I think I have found a false positive not mentioned in the RealSecure
Network docs... I have users using Hummingbird on NT with the
Hummingbird Neighborhhod feature. Hummingbird Neighborhood allows you
to drag'n'drop files from one server to another. The file transfer
uses FTP and does the drag and drop by doing an FTP_Bounce between the
two FTP servers. When I first saw the alerts I tried setting a Kill
for the alert... But it has no apparent effect: the data connection
between the two servers isn't killed, and if the control connection
between the FTP client and the server(s) _is_ killed, Hummingbird
     recovers tranparently.

     Thanks,
