        Mark,

        Displaying release notes before the installation of Xpress-Update
should not cause the failure of routine update. If there is a failure,
please send Tech Support a log file so we can determine the cause of it.
      Scanner does offer the option to view Xpress-Update version and
details before you download any Xpress-Update.

The last instruction is incorrect, uncheck display release notes before 
the installation of the Xpress Update, if this is selected the Xpress 
Update routine will fail, thus causing the Xpress Update not to install 
correctly.  One of the last lines in the window command calls for an exit 
status prior to completing the installation, since the routine thinks it 
has completed the installation and displays the release notes, the 
installshield needs to be corrected.  In most normal InstallShield 
programs the user is prompted if they would like to view the Release 
Notes/README.TXT file after the installation has completed itself. 

The routine in Xpress Update is coded incorrectly.  A correct fix for this 
routine is to have the Xpress Update Routine download the RELEASE Notes 
first, after the user reads the Release Notes, the window should prompt 
the user to accept the Xpress Update download or decline the Xpress 
Update.   if the User declines the new Xpress Update, the Release Notes 
window is closed, then the routine cleanly exits.  If the user accepts the 
Xpress Update then the Release Notes display window closes, then the 
routine initiates the Xpress Update download routine.

OK, suggested code enhancement..

            Benjamin,

            You need to go to X-press Update Install
                    - Uncheck ( Install all new X-Press Updates found)
                    - Click on next
                    - Click on ( Show all X-Press Updates found), and you
should notice the install status for all updates
                       found, for now you should have 3 for 6.01.
                     if you Highlight any of the updates, then click on
details for more info on the specific update.

                It is also possible  to display release notes before
installation if you check this feature under Details in Xpress-Update
Install.

I have downloaded the updates and when I do an update, the results would
show that the process is successfully updated but details or versions of 
the
updates is not shown.... Is this normal or am i missing out on something 
??

Are there any updates on the signatures of Realsecure available as well ?
eg. Latest trinoo and stacheldraht DOS attacks
