Event displayed on High Priority disappears

Hello,   For high priority events, I sometimes see the event being displayed on the High Priority pane. After a few minutes, that entry just disappears from the pane. For the other priority panes (Medium and Low), I don't seem to be having any problem of disappearing entries. For the high priority events, I set it not only to display on the console, in addition, I set to log event into the database and run an user-defined program that will activate an alphanumeric page.   Hope someone can help me solve this.
