Ed:
1. Uninstall the RS Console.
2. Delete the \program files\ISS\RealSecure 3.2 sub-directory.
3. Run regedit, open the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ISS key, delete the
RealSecure key, and exit regedit.
4. Run Windows NT Explorer, open Tools->Find and search for all copies of
atl.dll on both C: and D:. ATL.DLL is the Active Template Library used for
self-registering files. There is usually a copy of atl.dll in the
WinNT\%systemroot% directory, there may be a copy in \program
files\iss\scanner6 if you have previously installed Internet Scanner. The
size of the atl.dll files may vary between 19KB (original WinNT file), 58KB
(Internet Scanner version), and 68KB (version required by RealSecure). When
you delete all copies of atl.dll and reinstall the RS Console, you'll be
told that you need to update your atl.dll. Do so. Your self-registering
files will then register.

Greetings,
I am trying to find a resolution to a RealSecure 3.2.1 Console
installation problem.
Specifically, the following DLL's do not link.
Actions.dll
PolicyDoc.dll
RsAssetDb.dll
RsPluginExplorer.dll
RsPlugin.dll
RsActionPicker.dll
A message appears stating that these did not link and they will try
again on Reboot.
After reboot and starting the console the user is unable to modify any
policy.
Equip:
Acer 350mhz PII
NT4.0 Sp5
IE4.0 Sp2
128mb ram
6 gig hd
onboard eth0
HD0 is partitioned into 1 - 1 gig
2 - 5 gig
Console is loaded on second partion.
Any ideas?
