Hello everybody,

I just upgraded our Internet Scanner 6.0.1 to version 6.1. In the README
file, I was very very pleased to read that:

"Internet Scanner 6.1 now offers a new Policy Editor view, the
Module View, that is sorted by X-Press Update. The Module View lets
you view or add new vulnerability checks to existing,
custom policies."

I found it wonderful, because I was tired to review the whole policy (or at
least the whole plugin exploits list) after each X-Press Update. But what a
disappointment! When I opened the Module View, there was nothing like
X-Press updates, just cryptic denominations like "BuiltinExploitsD.dll" or
"PluginExploits2.dll" and so on. Hey, why can't things be simple? Is there
someone (presumably from ISS) who could tell me how do xxx.dll match X-Press
Updates from number 1 to 8?

Another disappointment concerning the GUI is that I can't use the "Use
Search" fonctionnality in the Policy Editor anymore, and I found it very
useful! When I click on "Use Search", it blinks and I get instantly the
"Show all" box checked again. What a bug! I use IS on an x86 which runs NT
4.0 Workstation US with Service Pack SP6a. Has someone (presumably from ISS)
got any information about that?

Have a good day/evening!

Erik
