About the best way I have found to determine how many checks I have enabled is to look at the properties of a policy I have made, copy the check contents and paste it into an excel spreadsheet. Then I can see the number of lines there are populated and deduce my number of enabled checks. Just a thought. --WQ! ----- Original Message ----- From: Huette Norbert <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: 'Pedro Fernandez' <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, September 13, 2000 11:02 AM Subject: AW: Problems with Internet Scanner 6.1 XPU 4.1 TO UNSUBSCRIBE: email "unsubscribe issforum" in the body of your message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED] for help with any problems! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello, Do you mean the "stack overflow, 0xc00000fd" message at the very end of the scan which was already discussed in the forum? With XPU 4.1 I saw it also coming up even without DoS-checks enabled. To disable the DoS exploits and run them in an extra session was the solution before XPU 4.1. But now you even can not run all Standard Vulnerability Checks + all Services Checks. You need to disable the services checks (or some other exploits). Maybe not all services checks, but I didnt have the time to investigate this. I hope ISS will come up with an information about how many and which vulnerability checks can be enabled in one session by growing amount of exploits with the XPUs.
