Possibly, I too have read this, but in practice I find it works quite well. I use RS
5.0 with patch 1.2

I have a probe on either side of an eSafe CVP server that blocks all ActiveX. I see
hundreds of requests upstream logged by the engine, however downstream I see none.

In addition, our users havent complained (me being one of them :) about not being able
to download .exe files.

The ActiveX signature in RealSecure triggers on attempts to download any
.exe file according to the help file. If I get 500 log entries for this,
does it mean that someone downloaded 500 files, or that someone downloaded a
file that took 500 packets?

Thanks.
