I scanned my a newly installed Windows Millenium Edition machine.
I had never been connected to any network, and now there is a Anti-Virus installed on
it (so I am pretty sure this is not a trojan, at least a known one).
Have you seen the same thing ?
There seems to be a small TCP port 5000 server installed by default on this OS.
If you have a WinME machine installed, can you port-scan it to verify you have the
same response ?
Does anyone know what that service is ?
Telnetting to that port doesn't give any text response...
