For NT hosts, I think you can just change
hklm\software\iss\system scanner agent\4.x\jobsendport
and jobsentport1 to whatever console ip/name change
you would like. (first one for the primary and port1
for the backup console, port2 for the auditing
console). Editing the hosts file so the new ip
resolves could work too, but not very clean.
