Mark,
There is no Network Sensor v 5.5. 5.5 is only a console and Server Sensor
(new component of the RealSecure family). What you probably ended up doing
was installing a different component of RealSecure on top of your network
sensor. Both components run with the issDaemon process, so this is probably
what caused the issue you're seeing.

All,
I've been trying to get an answer from ISS for several days but no
luck...
I recently tried to update one of my Network Sensors to Real Secure v
5.5 (sparc/Solaris 2.7), but the package install is falkey and fails.
Basically it either quits and fails to install( depends on whether
you answer "Yes/No" or "y/n" ) or you get in an infinite loop of it
asking you to define the Encryption types and algorythms you want ...
Anyone else have this problem and is there a work around ?
Thanks
