Chris/Andreas,

I've seen the same problem in ISS 6.1, and wondered if it was to do with A4
paper size? I raised this with ISS in London and was told they were working
on an update to the reporting engine. Fingers crossed it will be released
before the year 3000 !

In the past I've successfully used (under NT4) the print to disk, using a
postscript driver, and then used GhostScript to convert to a PDF, but this
doesn't work reliably (text goes wrong) under Win2k.

hth,
James

Hi Chris !

Sorry for the delay!

Yes I have the same Problems when generating WORD Reports.

If I generate Reports I use the Print option. In fact I print to a File
using the "Acrobat PDFWriter" (Version 3.03) printer. I did not see any
formating problems in the PDF Dokuments even when Printing the PDF Files to
Paper.

Kind regards
Andreas

Hi,

Is anyone else having trouble with the word reports generated by Internet
Scanner V6.1 ?

The text seems to appear in non-uniform places. For example a paragraph may
start with 1 letter on a line with the rest of the paragraph following a
line below. Also the colours for the vulnerabilities seem to cascade
throughout the document, i.e. if the first vulnerability is high, the other
vulnerabilities are coloured red and so on regardless of their risk level.

I contacted ISS and they explained that the problem currently resides with
Crystal Reports.

I therefore wonder if any one out there has written a Macro to post-process
the reports or has any interesting ways of tidying up the reports ?

I haven't tried the dif format yet, is that any better ?

Regards,

Chris Sumner
