It doesn't work.
Whatever .rpt used,if the DSN point to ODBC-SQL,not *.mdb, the Console say
"invalid file name" when previewing report.
So I think the problem is not in .rpt,is inside the "preview report"
function.

Flak,
Once you have edited the report what do you do. Try importing the
modified report as a customer report and see if that works. It has been
awhile since I have done this so I cannot remeber the exact method for doing
it.

But I only can use the report with SQL in Seagate Designer, only.
When I tried to preview the report in RS Console,it still can not work.
If I change the DSN of RS Console from *.mdb to ODBC(like SQL),
the Console can sync DB,but it pop out the "Invalid filename" error window
when preview report.

Jeferson,
The reports that REalSecure uses do not work with SQL, without
modification. You can open them with Crystal and change them to work with
SQL rather easily. In the next version of RealSecure we will support SQL so
this will not be an issue.

Hello All,
In order to obtain a robust database backend to my IDS solution, I changed
my IDS database backend from Microsoft Access 97 to MS SQL Server 7.
But just after to change my database backend to MS SQL Server, when I try to
generate any Reports from the RealSecure Console, the Real Secure Console
displays the following Error Message: "Invalid File Name".
My IDS enviroiment is composed by:
- ISS Real Secure 5.0
- MS SQL Server 7.0
- ISS Network Engine 5.0
PS> If RS dosent supports this implementation, I need to know if this
implementation really works.
Best Regards,
Jeferson Stabille
