Network ICE has been innovative and very strong for protecting the desktops,
while Internet Security System's has traditionally been very strong at
protecting the applications, servers, and networks. By combining our
companies together, our combination of products gives a more comprehensive
solution for what our customers need for protecting applications, desktops,
servers, and networks.
We are looking at integrating our solutions together. Future versions of
ISS and NetworkICE technology will become one integrated platform and become
a superset. Both customers of ISS and Network ICE will have their job
simplified because they can get the best of both worlds from one solution
from one company now, rather than deal with multiple solutions from two
seperate security vendors.
As we combine our companies and technologies, we'll release more details
here on issforum.
