According to ISS Technical Support this is a known issue with v6.0 when the
sensors get what it percieves as excessive traffic. ISS also indicated that
a patch was in the works. We can only hope, as it does indeed generate a
ton of events.

Upgraded yesterday & I am seeing similar PktTCPUDPHash(0,0,0,0,0,25) reports
on an NT4 based installation along with PktTCPUDPHash(0,0,0,0,0,80) entries.
Code value changes. Events seem to occur in bursts.
As with Ryans report, everything appears to continue to function normally.

Can anyone help to explain the following 6.0 Network Sensor error? The
sensor is running on Win2k and the error occurred in excess of 2000 times
in one week. Plenty of other events show in the logs, so the sensor is
working and does not stop after this error.
Sensor_Error
Response List DISPLAY=Default:0,LOGDB=Default:0
Code c0000065
:EventType Detector_Event
Message (network_sensor_1) - PktReceive: exception encountered
calling func '0x1004e360' in PktHashTable(PKT_PROTO_TCP),
PktTCPUDPHash(0,0,0,0,0,25).
Thanks in advance
Ryan
