Hi. I think there was a message on this list some time ago asking the same
question. But as I'm having the same problems, I've opened an support
request with ISS (ID: 415112). Here are the results:
--> ISS Reply on August 1st
- "This is a known issue with the NT version of Network Sensor.
- I have attached a patch for the problem. Here are the instructions
- on how to install the patch."
--> ISS Reply on August 2nd after I told them that the errors are still
there:
- "Our Engineering department is aware of the problem with the
- patch that they initially released and it not fixing the issue.
- They are diligently working on releasing a new patch to fix the
- PktReceive errors that you are experiencing. I will notify you
- as soon as I have more information for you. Thanks for your patience."
No reply from ISS after that. The error is still there, but not very
frequent anymore. If anyone has a hint, please drop a line, too. Thanks.
I wonder if it would be possible for ISS to publish known problems ("this
is a known issue") on their web page...
Perhaps they could publish known problems with solutions they provide for
known problems, too. ;-)
