Hi,
You can do it like this :

Installing an MSDE
database on a non-
C: drive
To install an MSDE database to a drive other than C:, you must run the MSDE
2000
installation from the command line. For example, if you wanted to install
the databases on
the D: drive, type the following at the command line:
setup TARGETDIR="D:\" DATADIR="D:\" /l "D:\sqlinstall.log"
If this fails, check the log file for the errors that caused the install to
fail (in the preceding
example, the log file is specified after the "/l", that is to say,
"D:\sqlinstall.log"). For
additional details about the MSDE installation, see the MSDE readme.txt file
and the
Microsoft Knowledge Base which is available on the Microsoft Web site at
http://
support.microsoft.com/directory/.
After you install the MSDE database to a drive other than C:, it is possible
for the
Workgroup Manager installation to fail. If it does, install the Workgroup
Manager again.

Hi all,

I have installed RS6 Event collector and console on
the same Win2000 box. How is it possible to configure
SQL logging for the event collector to a drive other
then the system drive (in this case c:\). The
realsecure event collector and console are all
installed onto a different drive but it seems by
default the sql database get put in c:\. Any ideas?

Rob
