We have just recently upgraded two consoles and 12 sensors from v5.0 to v6.0. Upgrades went smooth; however, we are experiencing Xpress Update problems on 1/3 of the sensors upgraded. Background: Sensors were upgraded in the following manner: Real Secure Network Sensor v5.0 uninstalled via Add/Remove Programs utility; HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ISS registry key manually removed (as per ISS' recommendations); program directory renamed; Fresh install of Network Sensor v6.0; machine rebooted. Sensors were successfully configured to be managed by console. Monitoring works fine. Upon running Xpress Update from console (to install the 3.1 and 3.2 upgrades), the sensor fails to install the update. The update process appears to work, but the sensor does not show either of the two updates as being installed. During the download process, I see the updates downloaded to the console's Updates directory, then removed as they appear to be installed on the sensor. I've played around with the consoles, adjusting the registry keys so that it installs the latest console update with the sensor updates; however, no success there. This problem is only seen on a few of our sensors - which are all the exact same machine with the exact same configuration (NT4 Workstation + SP6a). Any thoughts as to why the sensors will not take the updates. Thanks,
