No identifying information abart from the customer id is stored in the packets, as the documentation states. There is no way to customize the data, currently. -----Original Message----- From: PhB [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, October 29, 2001 3:28 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: the content of realsecure kill packets TO UNSUBSCRIBE: email "unsubscribe issforum" in the body of your message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED] for help with any problems! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi, All the manual says about realsecure "kill" packets is that they may contain a customer ID if the "enable tagging" is turned at the "global response" configuration level. Have anyone looked at the content of these packets with the tag flag on and off ? May it give out the software version (or, much worse, the signature DB version) in use ? Is there a way to fully customize the tcp data e.g. having RealSecure put the string "counter-measures" as data in every kill packet, and nothing more ? The need behind is to be able to snoop&grep RST packets accurately ... Regards Phil
