Hi, Thanks for reading and/or reacting to this post. In the end it was due to some strict acl's in the registry that didn't allow system to start the daemon :o| It is all running smoothly again. It will not start at boot time, and will not start manually giving an error in the event viewer. The only way it will startup is appending the parameter -debug on a command line. (net start issdaemon -debug) And this is how it is running now... I have opened a ticket with iss support to solve the problem but unfortunatly at this point the only thing they can come up with untill now is to reinstall the WGM. As this has been done a couple of times, i am afraid that is not the solution. (including manually deleting appropriate regkeys, folders, etc.) The machine is productional (more software) a complete fresh start is not possible. Any thoughts on how i could restart this quest and get it to work? Thanks! Jeroen.
