I would not use that. Depending on the type of traffic on your network may end up killing legitimate traffic. I like the idea of being in control of what should get thru and what should not. RS offers so many nice features that I will say that this auto response thingy is not a good idea. Know your network environment and type of traffic and use filter as needed to fine tune your RS. Best. Cleo P.S. This is a very personal opinion. -----Original Message----- From: dien hoang [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, April 25, 2002 6:35 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Real Secure auto response TO UNSUBSCRIBE: email "unsubscribe issforum" in the body of your message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED] for help with any problems! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Does anyone use the auto response option in Real Secure? RS has an option (Global Response) where if it sees a certain signature, it response automatically whether by sending an email, doing a RS_kill, or running a certain executable file, etc. My question is with the executable file portion. If done correctly, RS will execute that file and include information about the triggered signature. How is everyone using this feature? For example, how would you get RS to respond by opening up... lets say...notepad, and incude the signature info. Can anyone provide an example? Thanks. -Dien _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com
