Title: RE: Download XPress Problem

The problem with xpu being associated as a zip file has been documented for some time.

MS Windows has a tendency to change a *.xpu (your X-Press Update file) to a zip file. If you don't want to uninstall your PKZip or WinZip, download the xpu file instead of installing directly.  Once you do that save the file using the "save as" option.  In the box that pops up, put quotation marks ( " ) around the file name and it should read, FOR EXAMPLE, "RSNetSnsr_MU_4_2.xpu"

Make sure to include the quotation marks around this.  This will prevent MS Windows from turning your *.xpu file into a zip file.

I has the same problem, and thanks to the list I resolve the problem.
For a correct download,  I deinstaled a plug in for PKZip for Windows and
always works again.
Thanks for all the members thats help me.

| Johanne,
| You simply need to change the .zip extension that the download appended to
| .xpu
|
| Hope that helps
