hi all, i have a question for deployment of real-secure in my company. at the moment i work with real-secure wgm 6.5 (with msde) and the console-services on my master-pc and 10 network-sensors 6.5 (and 2 server-sensor with test-status) in other locations in different countries. the event-database and the asset-database runs on the master-pc and all events from the different network-sensors are reporting to this pc. this installation work without greater problems. but now, in the second step, i want to install console-pc�s for each sensor, so that the security-staffs in the different countries can see their own, but only their own, sensor. if i define an odbc-connection from every console to my event-database, everyone can see, with the reporting tool, events from the other sensors,too (not in console window, this is dependent on the distribution of the console-keys). this is not desired. in the other way i need an odbc-connection from the console-pc to my master-pc, for the using of the asset-database. maybe this installation is not possible with msde and i need a full sql-server, or i need an extra event-database for each sensor/console, i dont know. i can�t find anything about this in manuals, technical or white papers. so, if anyone can help me, please give me an information. thanks in advance. --------------------------------------------------------------- Paul Falb IT-Security Generali Office-Service und Consulting AG e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ---------------------------------------------------------------
