I have configured a new policy that I would like to use on Internet Scanner.
Every time I load this policy a warning box comes up saying that Not all the exploits and /or resources contained in this policy are present. They have been removed or they did not initialize properly on start up. It gives me the list of invalid information:
01427C66-4ABA-4650-AFE1-C3F92355ECFC}\tUnknown Exploit [ID=0x4701007a]
{07E3CA8D-2256-47F4-BAAD-749DD9251861}\tUnknown Exploit [ID=0x4701007a]
and so on and so on.
I tried to open up the Blank policy that comes with ISS Scanner and get the same error message.
When I use the policy to scan some networks scanner goes through all the IP's in a really quick matter and does not report any vulnerabilities. I have tried to scan a computer that I know has a vol. but it still did not come up with it.
Any ideas what is going on?
