Another suggestion,
Consider using eventreporter from Adiscon Gmbh to send event logs to a
central syslog server, that way you monitor events centrally on a Unix
system using an Openview agent or something like that.
I turn of the Realsecure logging and displaying of all events as a
result of doing this, as they flood my display.

Well, the event log on the NT box contains no useful information. And
of
course I did a reboot (it's NT !)
Probably it's not good to manage 6.5 and 7.0 network sensors from one
console?

I suggest to look at your the sensor event logs(application log) to
find
out
what is causing the problem.
Have you installed xpress updates recently? when was the last time
you
rebooted your sensor?
