I recently came up against this product in a project where IBM were one of the
interested parties and we were proposing SafeSuite and Siteprotector against their
desire for a Risk Manager solution.

The two major concerns I had were its integration with RealSecure (which involves
selecting SNMP traps as your alert mechanism for any signatures that you feel are
worthy of being sent to Risk Manager) and the issues surrounding the deployment of the
Tivoli framework within security infrastructure (repeat after me....swiss cheese
firewall).

The second issue may or may not concern some people. I was concerned about a secure
gateway to the Internet as opposed to deploymeny within an internal network for
example.

It also provides no integration with any other ISS products (such as IS or SS).

Has anyone tried this product as a cross product event processor for IDS
events? We have a site with ISS RealSecure, Snort, PIX firewalls and custom
systems to use in
intrusion detection and perimeter security, and would be interested in war
stories of those who have used this product to collect, collate and report
events.
