According to iss documentation you must install Backward compatibility. Also on the
www.opsec.com web site, you'll see that the Internet Securirty Systems IDS is not
listed as OPSEC compliant yet (altough they were compliant for Check Point v4.1).
Currently I am using Real Secure with Backward compatibility mode installed on the NG
FP2.

You should be able to Integrate them, and the SIC during the install of the
modules takes over the putkey portion, but it also allows you to do updates
of software or even distribute lic's amongst products that are interlaces
with NG-FP-2.

Hi all,

Can be integrated ISS RealSecure with Check Point Firewall-1 Feature Pack 2,
without using "Backward compatibility?

What advantages have to use SIC instead of PutKeys, for the case of
RealSecure?

Regards

Dixon
