Hi All,
We're upgrading our console from RealSecure 5 to 6.5. While the
documentation indicated that WorkGroup Manger 6.5 will connect to OS Sensor
5.x sensors, when running the Deployment Wizard and connecting the Event
Collector to the Sensor I get the following message.
Verifying that you can configure the sensor.
Connecting to Sensor...
Connected to the Sensor successfully.
Verifying that the sensor can be monitored by an Event
Collector...
The sensor can not be monitored by an Event Collector. The
sensor
is not the correct version or is not using the Alert Data
Format. Upgrade the sensor to the latest version available.
Disconnecting from the Sensor...
Disconnected from the Sensor successfully.
Sensor verification failed.
You may not configure the sensor.
Can anyone help determine what's wrong, or if it cannot
work.
Note that we're running OS Sensor 5 on WinNT. There is no upgrade to a
higher version of the OS Sensor. Server Sensor policies are not compatible
with OS Sensor Policies.
