FYI

I have recently encountered a problem with Site Protector counting NAT
addresses to the license file therefore busting the license for my
device count limit. From my SP console I use NAT addresses which are
translated further down the road... You may verify if your SP is
counting these addresses by running the utility that tech support sends
( SPSQLJ1-5.bat latest version ). In order to resolve the problem of
Site Protector counting the NAT addresses, I modified the issCSF.policy
file located on the netsens machine and added a line under the config header
[\Config\];
SensorIP =S x.x.x.x;

Once the file is modified, you then have to delete the unwanted ( real
IP ) of the network sensor from the HOST TABLE count from Site
Protector. This utility is also available from tech support (
installdeletecomponent.bat latest version ).

Reboot SP and Network Sensor Box ( solaris in my case ).

This has resolved my issue.

HTH

Simon.
