Support says 7.2 or older but the documentation seems to say different. Based on the kernel version not the Redhat version. My RH 7.3 is kernel 2.4.18
Snipped from page 1 of the on-line RS_SS_IG_Install_RHLinux72.pdf documentation.
Chapter 6: Installing a Server Sensor on Linux
Installing a Server Sensor on Linux Red Hat 7.2
on a 2.4.10 or later kernel version, the installation program completes,
but, if you want to use the server sensor's network monitoring
feature, you must manually copy the following files after the
installation program completes:
rs.o from <InstallPath>/lib/2.4.9-34(smp) to /lib/
modules/<OS Version>/kernel/drivers/iss
For example, cp /opt/ISS/lib/2.4.9-34/rs.o /lib/modules/
2.4.10-5/kernel/drivers/iss
rsma from <InstallPath>/etc to /etc/rc.d/init.d. After
you copy this file, link it to /etc/rc.d/rc2.d/S15rsma.
Has anyone got this to work?
