Hi Nagaraj, What product are you planning to install?
Windows 2000 Professional always will be the best platform, because It's
lighter than a Server version, and doesn't include any unnecessary
service. It's a good choice for Network Sensors, Workgroup Manager, System
Scanner Console, Database Scanner and Internet Scanner.
If you are planning to install RealSecure SiteProtector, you must to have a
Windows 2000 Server for a basic installation, or at least two, if you plan
to deploy a distributed installation.
P.D. I have fully operative deployments with that configurations.

hi all,
what is the recommended or preferred variant of
windows 2000, server or professional. ISS knowledge
base recommends windows NT workstation over windows NT
server. Is the same aapplicable to windows 2000.
