I have not had a problem with RS version 7.0 updates. Be sure to verify that; 1) All sequential XPUs have been installed. 2) Ensure that the maintenance date is active in your license key.
I copy the XPU to an updates folder on my console, ensuring that I rename the file by removing the .zip extension. A) Highlight a sensor (not the EC) being monitored and select, Express or Product Update Updates. That should lead you through the process. If there is also a Console Manager update, you will be prompted about it during the XPU install. The XPU install places the new features in the policy that was uploaded to the sensor. After it completes, B) Open the policy, select the Xpress Updates tab and activate the new features under the new Xpress Udpate. Close that window and select yes to save the changes. C) Once changed, select Apply to sensor. The new updated version of the policy is sent to the sensor and you receive that prompt. You should repeat steps A) and C) for each sensor you are monitoring.
