That is by design. ICEcap will not allow for remote access via unencrypted HTTP. This 
is a security precaution to ensure nobody captures vital security data from 
unencrypted HTTP.

You do not need to "enable" SSL support. It is included with ICEcap. ICEcap has its 
own embedded web server and it will generate a self-signed SSL certificate. 

The difference is that ICEcap uses a specific TCP port for SSL access. This is defined 
as the HTTPS Browser Port when you first installed ICEcap. The default port is 8089. 
You can check this by logging on to ICEcap and go to Administration > ICEcap 
Configuration > System Configuration.

The first item listed "HTTPS Browser Port" is the port you must use to logon to ICEcap 
using SSL. Assuming you were using the default port, you would enter the following 
URL:  

HTTPS://<icecap_server_IP>:8089

Give it a try.
