Sam, At the point when you see the "20 of 20" indication, the Xpressupdate program is attempting to initiate a stop of the controller and blades so as to allow it to update certain files that are locked when they are running. If the blades are not coming down (you can use Task Manager to confirm) that is why it is hanging. Stop the XPU update and stop the issDaemon service. If issCSF.exe, ISCSrv.exe, or any of the blades are still running, kill those processes and at that point restart the issDaemon. The Daemon will start CSF, which will in turn start the ISCSrv and then ISCSrv will start the blades. Try again at this point with the XPU. If the services or blades do not properly start in the previous step or if the XPU again hangs, contact Technical Support.

We have set up a central MSSQL server especially for IS 7.0, and we are now trying to install IS 7.0 on our scanning computers. All the MSSQL client software is on the scanning computers, I can even cpnnect to the MSSQL server, and query its version (which is patched locally, and remotely. I can't see any reason I need to install MSDE, an I missing something. I am not a database person, but I have to get this setup, so I might just be missing something in the setup of the database client to make IS like it. Thanks for any help, David Sayre Los Alamos National Labs. _______________________________________________ ISSForum mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] TO UNSUBSCRIBE OR CHANGE YOUR SUBSCRIPTION, go to https://atla-mm1.iss.net/mailman/listinfo _______________________________________________ ISSForum mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] TO UNSUBSCRIBE OR CHANGE YOUR SUBSCRIPTION, go to https://atla-mm1.iss.net/mailman/listinfo _______________________________________________ ISSForum mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] TO UNSUBSCRIBE OR CHANGE YOUR SUBSCRIPTION, go to https://atla-mm1.iss.net/mailman/listinfo
