You should be able to monitor v6.5 sensors with a 7.0 console.
If you've migrated the sensors as well you have to migrate the
policies on the wgm from version 6.5 to version 7 policies

in the wgm main pulldown window
select view -> sensor policies,
in the new window select one of your existing 6.5 policies
then select create new policy.
select a new name for the existing policy (recommend that you put the same name
as the existing one and append the policy with a v7 to keep it easy to track policy migration)
click the button then poof the new policy is created for you

Subject:        [ISSForum] Network Sensor 7.0 Policy Problem

Dear Sirs,

I am facing a problem with my new upgraded ISS Realsecure 7.0 Version.

I was using Realsecure 6.5 Workgroup Manager in Win2K and 6.5 network
sensors in Solaris.

Recently I have upgraded this Workgroup Manager 6.5 to 6.7 by
installing the upgrade package and also updated all the sensors to 7.0
using the Full upgrade from the Workgroup Manager Console.

After upgrading the sensors I found that all my sensors are using the
policy called "Default".  But I have imported my old policy files to
the current format option from the Policies window. Now I am able to
apply those imported policies, but if I try to customize or view the
policies, its giving me an error - "This Policy has an unrecognized
format. It will be edited using the raw view". If I click on OK, then
it opens up the Policy editor window, as shown below and the data is
not in an editable format.

- NetworkEngine 7.0
 - root
   - template
      - Versioninfo
        + features
        + services
        + Contexts
        - Protocols

If any body has encountered this problem and have a solution, please
help me.

Thanks,
Isaac
