Hi I have had the same symptoms since installing XPU 20.15. I rolled back to 20.14 and all seems fine. I have an open job with support that hopefully will solve things.
But it is good to know that I'm not alone in seeing this problem, (Note that I have only seen this on one of our Solaris sensors, all built identically, so I suspect that it may be traffic-related) Robert Nicolas wrote: > I have configured a network sensor on a solaris system, and all worked fine. > But, since a few days, I have the process _network_sensor_ which falls down (issdaemon still running anyway). > > When I check the error (in /var/adm/messages), I have this message: > > Jul 17 10:03:52 hostname ISS[439]: [ID 347996 user.error] (network_sensor_1) - The Sensor received signal 11. > Jul 17 10:03:52 hostname Stack info: > Jul 17 10:03:52 hostname ff02b824/ff0284d8/fedb4bbc/feda8f58/feda6a14/000409e4/00046c24/00097b08/ff02 b728/ > Jul 17 10:03:52 hostname The sensor will exit. > > So I search on the ISS knowledge base and in the documentation, but I found anything. > > Do you have any idea of the meaning of this error ? > > Thanks in advance, > Nicolas. -- Robert Turner GCIA Security Solutions Designer & Analyst BT Secure Business Services T: +44 (0)113 244 5951 F: +44 (0)113 244 5657 [EMAIL PROTECTED] == # include std.disclaimer ===================================== British Telecommunications plc Registered office: 81 Newgate Street London EC1A 7AJ Registered in England no. 1800000 This electronic message contains information from British Telecommunications plc which may be privileged or confidential.
