ISS Internet Scanner version: 6.21
Crystal reports version: 8.5

I used a few of ISS's built-in reports as a template for creating some
custom reports for specific sets of IP addresses. This seemed like an
easy way for me to generate reports for specific users on my network.

The reports run great if I run them from within Crystal Reports. It
prompts me for the JobID, which means I have to look in the reports section
of Internet Scanner to determine which JobID I want to generate a report
from.

However, when I try to import the report into IS (using the Reports/Import
Report menu item), it doesn't seem to run properly.

Case in point -- I made a copy of the "Technician/Host Assessment Sorted
by IP Address" report and customized the query to generate the report
for a specific IP address range. When I run my customized report from
within IS, I get the Host Assessment report, but it contains all the
IP addresses in the specific JobID (session), and it doesn't filter for
the IP addresses I had specified.

This could be more of a Crystal Reports question that may go beyond the
scope of this mailing list -- however, the report works just fine from
within CR (as long as I know the JobID).

Does anyone recognize what this problem may be? Are there any web resources
with hints for customized ISS reporting? I'm sort of new to using CR,
but it seemed pretty straight-forward to me

Thanks.
