Title: RE: [ISSForum] problems since db update

I have seen something similar to what you're describing.  All of my sensors as well as the 'back-end' components go to 'unknown' in the status column at the same time for no apparent reason.  I've found that if you select details, you'll see the components are still active.  With the application, enterprise database, event collectors, and SFM, I've found that within details if I click the refresh button, the status will update, but the refresh from the drop-down menus doesn't work.

I have hundreds of sensors so this isn't a feasible solution for them, can someone from ISS respond with suggestions for a fix?

I have found an ISS 'known issues' article in the knowledgebase (Answer ID 2142) that might be related to the issue.  It calls for creating a new SQL Agent job, which I did, it is running, successfully, but it doesn't seem to help.

I am experiencing the same problem.

I applied the db update yesterday to site protector, and since then the components have gone offline 3 times. The sensors do not restart gracefully and I have to bounce alot of the individual sensors.

Has anyone else experienced this problem, and does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve?
